Underwater Investigation and Evidence Collection

Our divers are specially trained to conduct underwater surveys and assessments of ships and structures, providing detailed reports and recommendations for repairs and maintenance. The assessment work includes:

• Thorough inspections of the ship’s or structure’s hull and other underwater surfaces, including the propellers, rudders, and sea chests.
  
  
• Identification and documentation of any biofouling present, including the type and severity of the buildup.

• Measurements of the thickness of the biofouling can help determine the extent of the problem and the best course of action for removal.

• Identification of any other issues that may be affecting the ship or structure’s performance, such as structural damage or corrosion.

• Providing detailed reports of the assessment, including photographs and video footage, to the ship or structure’s owner or operator.

• Providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance, including the use of specific cleaning methods and biofouling management strategies.

• Our divers are equipped with high-tech equipment such as cameras and sensors to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe assessment work.

• Assessing the need of further work by using Smart Kart 6 or other specialized equipment to remove biofouling.
